Wealth doesn't start with a strategy. It starts with how you think about money.

This month, we're sitting down with Chris Ogletree — financial advisor at Northwestern Mutual, Top 40 Advisors Under 40 (Atlanta), and a Summit Advisor ranking in the top 6% of the industry. Chris built his practice helping high-performing people of color create, retain, and pass down multigenerational wealth. He's here to break down what actually moves the needle.

This is part of our Legacy Builders Speaker Series: a recurring strategy session built to give our community the mindset and tools to build wealth that lasts.

What we're covering:

  • MINDSET FIRST: Why money follows your thinking, not the other way around — and how to build the financial thought patterns that support real growth.

  • VISUALIZATION & SELF-DIRECTED NEUROPLASTICITY: The science behind rewiring how you see money and opportunity.

  • BEHAVIOR OVER KNOWLEDGE: Why successful investing comes down to discipline and long-term thinking, not how much you know.

  • COMPOUND INTEREST, UNINTERRUPTED: The math behind compounding — and why touching it early is the most expensive mistake you can make.

  • TIME IN THE MARKET VS. TIMING THE MARKET: Why staying invested beats trying to predict the perfect moment.

  • SAVE FIRST, SPEND WHAT'S LEFT: The simple rule that changes everything.

Note: A live Q&A session will follow the presentation to answer your specific planning questions.

We aim to honor everyone's time and get rolling right at the top of the hour, so please log on a few minutes early. As always, having your cameras on is highly appreciated whenever we're bringing this community together.

This webinar offers general education, not a personalized financial plan. Your specific situation deserves specific advice — reach out to discuss yours directly.

About the Speaker

Chris Ogletree is a financial advisor with Northwestern Mutual, where he's built his practice since 2015. He's passionate about helping families, entrepreneurs, and professionals create, retain, and distribute multigenerational wealth — working primarily, though not exclusively, with high-performing people of color. Chris is known for making complex financial topics simple, a talent that's earned him recognition as a Top 40 Advisor Under 40 in Atlanta and standing as a Summit Advisor, placing him in the top 6% of the financial planning industry.

Outside of the office, Chris counts marrying his wife, Renee, as his greatest accomplishment. Together they're raising two daughters, Raegan and Ryleigh, with a son on the way.
